Existe una discriminaci\u00f3n end\u00e9mica contra los pueblos ind\u00edgenas, que a veces se traduce en trabajos forzados.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">El Estado ha destinado la inmensa mayor\u00eda de los bosques a explotaciones madereras y zonas protegidas, ignorando los derechos sobre la tierra de las comunidades locales y obstaculizando su acceso a los recursos de los que dependen. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">La inseguridad y la inestabilidad pol\u00edtica imperantes en amplias zonas del pa\u00eds han obstaculizado los esfuerzos por mejorar la gobernanza forestal.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<div class=\"map_wrapper\" id=\"map_wrapper_7679\">\n<div class=\"map_box\" style=\"max-width:400px\">\n<div class=\"map_aspect_ratio\" style=\"padding-top:100%\" data-padding-top=\"100%\" data-padding-top-mobile=\"100%\">\n<div class=\"map_container\">\n<div class=\"map_render map_loading\" id=\"map_7679\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>\n\t\tNuestros impactos\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li>RFUK y nuestro socio local CADD fueron los primeros defensores de los bosques comunitarios en la RCA y consiguieron <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/es\/una-primicia-historica-en-la-republica-centroafricana-las-comunidades-adquieren-derechos-sobre-sus-bosques-locales\/\">obtener el primer bosque comunitario de la historia del pa\u00eds<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hemos ayudado a las comunidades locales a cartografiar miles de hect\u00e1reas de tierras tradicionales y a mejorar sus medios de vida mediante innovadores programas de mejora agr\u00edcola.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>En 2010, la Rep\u00fablica Centroafricana se convirti\u00f3 en el primer pa\u00eds de \u00c1frica en ratificar el Convenio 169 de la OIT sobre los derechos de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas, en parte gracias a la labor de promoci\u00f3n de RFUK. Desde entonces, hemos seguido luchando para que sus disposiciones se hagan realidad sobre el terreno.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" modelo de gesti\u00f3n forestal comunitaria de \u00e9xito, centrado en los derechos, necesidades y prioridades de las comunidades locales, incluidas las de grupos marginados como los pueblos fortalezas\" de Occidente se basa en la peligrosa pero persistente idea de que hay que separar a la poblaci\u00f3n local de la naturaleza para mantenerla \"pr\u00edstina\" (a veces en beneficio de turistas extranjeros). Esto no s\u00f3lo provoca violaciones de los derechos humanos, sino que adem\u00e1s es ineficaz, ya que ignora y aliena a las mismas personas que han modelado y administrado esos paisajes durante
