La producci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola, y en particular la de cacao para el mercado internacional, es uno de los principales motores de la deforestaci\u00f3n. Las inminentes leyes sobre la cadena de suministro en Europa, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos pretenden eliminar la deforestaci\u00f3n de sus importaciones de cacao y otros productos b\u00e1sicos. El reto para pa\u00edses como Ghana es aprovechar estas leyes de forma que apoyen tanto su desarrollo como sus objetivos de protecci\u00f3n forestal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La miner\u00eda y la tala tambi\u00e9n contribuyen a la p\u00e9rdida y degradaci\u00f3n de los bosques. Aunque se ha avanzado en la lucha contra la tala ilegal, sigue siendo un problema considerable tanto en el mercado nacional como en las cadenas de suministro para la exportaci\u00f3n. Mientras tanto, las empresas madereras incumplen a menudo las responsabilidades sociales acordadas con las comunidades afectadas por las concesiones madereras, dejando a la gente sin las tierras, los id=\"map_7683\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>\n\t\tNuestros impactos\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li>Desde 2015, los socios y las comunidades locales de Ghana han desplegado nuestros <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/es\/nuestros-proyectos\/forestlink\/\">ForestLink<\/a> sistema de vigilancia en tiempo real para atajar la deforestaci\u00f3n ilegal.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Con nuestro apoyo, los socios locales han formado a m\u00e1s de 75 comunidades en ocho regiones, que han enviado <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forestlink.org\/alerts-map\/\" target=\"_self\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">miles de alertas<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\"> sobre actividades ilegales en sus tierras.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Esto ha llevado a la<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">detenci\u00f3n de madereros ilegales, la r<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">enegociaci\u00f3n de decenas de acuerdos de responsabilidad social (SRA) con empresas madereras en beneficio de las comunidades locales, as\u00ed
