{"id":5396,"date":"2022-12-15T15:00:53","date_gmt":"2022-12-15T15:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/?p=5396"},"modified":"2023-01-23T11:17:28","modified_gmt":"2023-01-23T11:17:28","slug":"un-nuevo-capitulo-para-el-seguimiento-comunitario-de-los-derechos-de-las-mujeres-a-la-tierra-en-kenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/es\/un-nuevo-capitulo-para-el-seguimiento-comunitario-de-los-derechos-de-las-mujeres-a-la-tierra-en-kenia\/","title":{"rendered":"Un nuevo cap\u00edtulo para la vigilancia comunitaria: los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra en Kenia"},"content":{"rendered":"<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/e0233612-bbb1-4c3b-8927-36d863af1ad0.jpg\" alt=\"e0233612-bbb1-4c3b-8927-36d863af1ad0\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"465\" width=\"1000\" title=\"e0233612-bbb1-4c3b-8927-36d863af1ad0\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\r\n\t<p>Nos complace anunciar la asociaci\u00f3n de RFUK con <a href=\"https:\/\/tmg-thinktank.com\/\">Grupo de reflexi\u00f3n TMG<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenyalandalliance.or.ke\/\">Alianza para la Tierra de Kenia<\/a>junto con sus socios locales Taita Taveta Human Rights Watch, Sauti ya wanawake y Shibuye Community Health Workers, para poner en marcha un nuevo proyecto destinado a ayudar a las mujeres rurales de Kenia a denunciar abusos y amenazas contra sus derechos sobre la tierra.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Aunque en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han aprobado leyes favorables para proteger los derechos de las mujeres a poseer, utilizar y gestionar la tierra en Kenia, las normas patriarcales profundamente arraigadas y el desconocimiento general de esos derechos hacen que, en la pr\u00e1ctica, las mujeres sigan siendo expulsadas de sus tierras si sus maridos mueren o se marchan. Tambi\u00e9n tienen dificultades para reclamar las tierras heredadas y se ven excluidas ilegalmente de los t\u00edtulos de propiedad.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Screenshot-2022-12-15-145634-300x226.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"414\" height=\"312\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>El pasado noviembre, RFUK se reuni\u00f3 con los socios del proyecto en Nairobi en un taller de 5 d\u00edas para compartir conocimientos y experiencias sobre las complejidades de documentar abusos de los derechos humanos como estos y especialmente en casos de violencia de g\u00e9nero, y juntos codise\u00f1aron una innovadora herramienta digital llamada Haki Ardhi que ser\u00e1 un nuevo y poderoso instrumento en la lucha por los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Con Haki Ardhi, las mujeres podr\u00e1n denunciar abusos y violaciones de una forma segura que tambi\u00e9n permitir\u00e1 un acceso m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido a la ayuda, y las organizaciones locales que las apoyan podr\u00e1n digitalizar los expedientes de casos que actualmente tienen en papel, lo que permitir\u00e1 un estrecho seguimiento de los casos y la centralizaci\u00f3n y visualizaci\u00f3n de datos para identificar tendencias e impulsar un cambio pol\u00edtico sist\u00e9mico.<\/p>\r\n<p>Esta iniciativa se basa en el \u00e9xito del programa de vigilancia comunitaria de RFUK <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestlink.org\">ForestLink<\/a>que ha permitido a comunidades remotas de la cuenca del Congo denunciar actividades ilegales en sus tierras, lo que ha supuesto una contribuci\u00f3n pionera a la mejora de la gobernanza forestal y la justicia para la poblaci\u00f3n rural. Aunque ForestLink se basa principalmente en una aplicaci\u00f3n, un aspecto clave del desarrollo t\u00e9cnico de este proyecto es la creaci\u00f3n de una sencilla interfaz de mensajes de texto para los usuarios que no poseen tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes. Esto ampliar\u00e1 significativamente el alcance de ForestLink no s\u00f3lo en Kenia, sino en todos los pa\u00edses en los que trabaja RFUK.<\/p>\r\n<p>Al adaptar ForestLink para supervisar las amenazas a los derechos de las mujeres a la tierra en Kenia, RFUK no s\u00f3lo se est\u00e1 expandiendo a un nuevo pa\u00eds, sino que tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 liberando el potencial de la supervisi\u00f3n comunitaria como herramienta para mejorar y apoyar la participaci\u00f3n c\u00edvica y los derechos humanos en general.
