Esto se produce tras las revelaciones de que el ministro de Medio Ambiente de la RDC planea levantar la moratoria que pesa desde hace tiempo sobre las nuevas concesiones de tala industrial, amenazando decenas de millones de hect\u00e1reas de bosques y comunidades dependientes de los bosques - una medida que hasta ahora ha sido recibida con silencio por la CAFI y otros responsables pol\u00edticos.<\/p>\r\n<p>En v\u00edsperas de la conferencia sobre el clima, considerada una de nuestras \u00faltimas oportunidades para mantener el calentamiento global dentro de 1,5 grados por encima de los niveles preindustriales,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/email.thenewfat.co.uk\/t\/r-l-trjkbg-oujvjjutj-i\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"1\">se asumir\u00e1n enormes compromisos en materia de REDD+ y soluciones basadas en la naturaleza<\/a>\u00a0que, en teor\u00eda, se supone que recompensan a los pa\u00edses con bosques tropicales por proteger y restaurar sus bosques.
