Nous les avons tout d\u2019abord aid\u00e9s \u00e0 obtenir des titres de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 et \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger leurs terres ancestrales, avant de soutenir leurs efforts pour d\u00e9finir, en pratique, ce que les termes Kametsa Asaike (\u00ab\u2009la bonne vie\u2009\u00bb) signifient pour eux. Apr\u00e8s des consultations de grande envergure, les Ash\u00e1ninka ont \u00e9tabli un programme qui oriente toujours leurs actions collectives et qui constitue la base de notre travail avec eux. L'une de leurs principales priorit\u00e9s consiste \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre des activit\u00e9s de subsistance compatibles avec leur culture et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de prot\u00e9ger la for\u00eat pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures.<\/p>\n<p>La production de cacao a fourni aux familles Ash\u00e1ninka de telles possibilit\u00e9s. En 2010, elles ont fond\u00e9 une coop\u00e9rative indig\u00e8ne, Kemito Ene, qui a modifi\u00e9 leurs m\u00e9thodes de production. Cette coop\u00e9rative compte aujourd'hui des centaines de membres et vend son cacao sur les march\u00e9s internationaux sous des labels biologiques et du commerce \u00e9quitable.
