Ces for\u00eats abritent \u00e9galement des centaines de communaut\u00e9s locales, dont plusieurs peuples autochtones, qui m\u00e8nent souvent une existence semi-nomade.<\/p>\n<p>Environ trois quarts des for\u00eats du pays sont attribu\u00e9es \u00e0 des concessions d'exploitation foresti\u00e8re, un facteur important de d\u00e9gradation des for\u00eats qui n'a apport\u00e9 que peu d'avantages durables au niveau local. L'agro-industrie, les projets p\u00e9troliers et le d\u00e9veloppement d'infrastructures augmentent les pressions, en particulier avec plusieurs permis chevauchant les tourbi\u00e8res de la Cuvette Centrale - l'une des plus grandes synchronicit\u00e9s de carbone de la plan\u00e8te. Malheureusement, les efforts de conservation par le biais de zones strictement prot\u00e9g\u00e9es et de projets de compensation carbone ont souvent accru la marginalisation des populations foresti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 ces d\u00e9fis, il existe des possibilit\u00e9s juridiques pour promouvoir les droits de ces populations, dans le cadre de la loi sur les peuples autochtones de 2011, la r\u00e9cente l\u00e9gislation sur les for\u00eats communautaires ainsi que les r\u00e9formes de la planification de l'utilisation des terres, m\u00eame si leur mise en \u0153uvre est lente et entrav\u00e9e par un manque d'espace g\u00e9ographique. Comme dans d'autres pays du bassin du Congo, les d\u00e9fenseurs de l'environnement et des droits humains sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des menaces croissantes et sont contraints d'op\u00e9rer dans un paysage politique qui laisse tr\u00e8s peu de place \u00e0 la participation civique.<\/p>\n\t<div class=\"map_wrapper\" id=\"map_wrapper_7687\">\n<div class=\"map_box\" style=\"max-width:400px\">\n<div class=\"map_aspect_ratio\" style=\"padding-top:100%\" data-padding-top=\"100%\" data-padding-top-mobile=\"100%\">\n<div class=\"map_container\">\n<div class=\"map_render map_loading\" id=\"map_7687\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>\n\t\tNos impacts\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<ul>\n<li>Le RFUK et ses partenaires locaux ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le de premier plan dans l'adoption par la R\u00e9publique du Congo, en 2011, d'une loi historique sur les peuples autochtones, la premi\u00e8re du genre en Afrique.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Notre travail a mis en lumi\u00e8re les dangers d'une planification insuffisante de l\u2019exploitation industrielle de <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/fr\/publications\/palmed-off-an-investigation-into-three-industrial-palm-oil-and-rubber-projects-in-cameroon-and-the-republic-of-congo\/\">l'huile de palme industrielle<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/infrastructure-report.pdf\">d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures<\/a> dans le pays, ainsi que les <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/fr\/publications\/the-human-cost-of-conservation-in-republic-of-congo\/\">pratiques abusives de conservation<\/a> dans ses zones strictement prot\u00e9g\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Depuis 2019, nous avons \u00e9tabli un partenariat avec l'organisation locale CJJ pour aider les communaut\u00e9s \u00e0 utiliser <a href=\"https:\/\/forestlink.org\/republic-of-congo\/\">ForestLink<\/a> pour documenter et d\u00e9noncer les activit\u00e9s ill\u00e9gales sur leurs terres, et exiger une meilleure compensation de la part des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d'exploitation foresti\u00e8re.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" droits\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n    <p>MappingForRights est un projet de cartographie communautaire dans le bassin du Congo, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 prim\u00e9 par les Nations unies. Cette approche ne conduit pas seulement \u00e0 des violations des droits de l'homme, elle est \u00e9galement inefficace car elle ignore et ali\u00e8ne les populations qui ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 et
