{"id":2159,"date":"2017-11-12T00:00:24","date_gmt":"2017-11-12T00:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/?p=2159"},"modified":"2022-07-19T15:48:29","modified_gmt":"2022-07-19T15:48:29","slug":"declaration-commune-sur-la-proposition-de-lever-le-moratoire-sur-lexploitation-forestiere-en-rdc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/fr\/declaration-commune-sur-la-proposition-de-lever-le-moratoire-sur-lexploitation-forestiere-en-rdc\/","title":{"rendered":"D\u00e9claration commune sur la proposition de lever le moratoire sur l'exploitation foresti\u00e8re en RDC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>D\u00c9CLARATION SUR L'ANNONCE QUE LE GOUVERNEMENT DE LA R\u00c9PUBLIQUE D\u00c9MOCRATIQUE DU CONGO A ENTAM\u00c9 UN PROCESSUS VISANT \u00c0 LEVER SON MORATOIRE SUR L'ATTRIBUTION DE NOUVELLES CONCESSIONS FORESTI\u00c8RES.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Rainforest Foundation UK, Rainforest Foundation Norway, Global Witness, Greenpeace, R\u00e9seau des Ressources Naturelles, (RRN).<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/f78fe00b-53d0-459e-8ea4-bc803c7ead0f.jpg\" alt=\"f78fe00b-53d0-459e-8ea4-bc803c7ead0f\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"525\" width=\"700\" title=\"f78fe00b-53d0-459e-8ea4-bc803c7ead0f\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Bonn, 12 novembre 2017 :<\/strong>\u00a0Nous sommes alarm\u00e9s par le fait que, alors qu'il s'exprime \u00e0 la COP23 au nom de la Coalition for Rainforest Nations sur l'importance de prot\u00e9ger ses for\u00eats, le gouvernement de la RDC a organis\u00e9 une r\u00e9union \u00e0 Kinshasa le 10 novembre pour lancer un processus qui conduirait \u00e0 la destruction de vastes zones de la for\u00eat congolaise, en violation de ses propres lois foresti\u00e8res et de son d\u00e9cret pr\u00e9sidentiel.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9union, convoqu\u00e9e par le minist\u00e8re congolais de l'environnement et du d\u00e9veloppement durable, a envisag\u00e9 de lever le moratoire national de longue date sur l'attribution de nouvelles concessions d'exploitation foresti\u00e8re industrielle, qui, depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, a frein\u00e9 l'industrie foresti\u00e8re chaotique et souvent ill\u00e9gale de la RDC et a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 maintenir les for\u00eats du pays relativement intactes.<\/p>\n<p>Nous sommes \u00e9galement pr\u00e9occup\u00e9s par le fait que le minist\u00e8re de l'environnement et du d\u00e9veloppement durable propose de c\u00e9der les droits sur deux millions d'hectares de for\u00eat \u00e0 une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 inconnue appel\u00e9e Silvere en \u00e9change de son soutien financier \u00e0 la lev\u00e9e du moratoire.<\/p>\n<p>Une expansion de l'exploitation foresti\u00e8re industrielle \u00e0 la suite de la lev\u00e9e du moratoire d\u00e9clencherait un raz-de-mar\u00e9e de destruction environnementale, d'abus sociaux et de corruption dans la deuxi\u00e8me plus grande for\u00eat tropicale du monde. Elle entra\u00eenerait \u00e9galement une augmentation significative des \u00e9missions de carbone, notamment \u00e0 partir des vastes gisements de tourbe r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9couverts qui recouvrent de nombreuses zones de la for\u00eat congolaise.<\/p>\n<p>Cela tournerait en d\u00e9rision les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par la communaut\u00e9 internationale pour am\u00e9liorer la gouvernance foresti\u00e8re en RDC, collaborer avec le gouvernement de la RDC et le financer pour prot\u00e9ger ses for\u00eats et ses mar\u00e9cages tourbeux, ainsi que le leadership de la RDC au sein de la Coalition for Rainforest Nations (coalition des nations des for\u00eats tropicales).<\/p>\n<p>Nous demandons au gouvernement de la RDC de renoncer \u00e0 ses projets de lev\u00e9e du moratoire sur l'exploitation foresti\u00e8re, de d\u00e9clarer qu'il maintiendra le moratoire et d'annuler et de publier les d\u00e9tails de tout accord avec Silvere.
