Au cours de l'ann\u00e9e \u00e0 venir, nous allons interviewer un \u00e9ventail de personnes qui aident les projets du RFUK \u00e0 se r\u00e9aliser. Qu'il s'agisse du personnel des partenaires dans le pays, des membres de la communaut\u00e9 et au-del\u00e0, les personnes sont au c\u0153ur de notre travail et nous esp\u00e9rons que vous trouverez notre s\u00e9rie de profils au cours de l'ann\u00e9e 2017 perspicace.<\/p>\n

Le premier est\u00a0Robert Sangster-Poole<\/strong>Coordinatrice de la communication au RFUK, qui a r\u00e9cemment rejoint l'\u00e9quipe au Royaume-Uni.<\/p>\n

Rob est titulaire d'une ma\u00eetrise en Afrique et en d\u00e9veloppement international de l'universit\u00e9 d'\u00c9dimbourg, o\u00f9 ses recherches ont port\u00e9 sur l'am\u00e9lioration de la durabilit\u00e9 des relations Nord-Sud. Rob a entrepris des recherches au Ghana et est un b\u00e9n\u00e9vole de longue date aupr\u00e8s de Jamaican Self-Help, une organisation non gouvernementale d'\u00e9ducation et de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s. Rob rejoint le RFUK apr\u00e8s avoir travaill\u00e9 pour l'Association des Nations unies au Canada en tant que coordinateur de la recherche et de la logistique.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Robert\n\t\tRobert Sangster-Poole, coordinateur des communications \u00e0 la RFUK, se d\u00e9tend pendant ses vacances au Canada.\n\t

Q : Qu'est-ce qui vous pla\u00eet dans votre travail au RFUK ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob : Travailler avec RFUK est en fait le travail de mes r\u00eaves ! J'adore travailler sur tous les projets. C'est g\u00e9nial d'avoir une exposition aussi large et d'apprendre toutes les choses diff\u00e9rentes que notre \u00e9quipe fait - des campagnes de conservation aux for\u00eats communautaires en passant par la surveillance en temps r\u00e9el. Chaque semaine, je travaille sur quelque chose de diff\u00e9rent. Cela rend les choses int\u00e9ressantes !<\/p>\n

Q : Parlez-nous de votre exp\u00e9rience de recherche en Afrique ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob : Il y a plusieurs ann\u00e9es, j'ai eu la chance de me rendre au Ghana o\u00f9 j'ai men\u00e9 des recherches sur le mouvement syndical et le secteur agricole. J'ai beaucoup appris et j'ai eu l'occasion de travailler en \u00e9troite collaboration avec une \u00e9quipe brillante et passionn\u00e9e au sein de l'un des principaux syndicats du pays. J'ai \u00e9galement eu la chance de contribuer \u00e0 des recherches passionnantes (et alarmantes) sur l'impact des grandes plantations d'agrocarburants dans le pays.<\/p>\n

Q : Quelle est votre activit\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e en dehors du travail ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob : J'adore les bons jeux de soci\u00e9t\u00e9, en particulier ceux qui vous font r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir de fa\u00e7on nouvelle sur le monde r\u00e9el. En fait, je viens de d\u00e9couvrir une version des Colons de Catan sur le th\u00e8me du changement climatique !<\/p>\n

Q : Quel est le meilleur conseil que l'on vous ait jamais donn\u00e9 ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob : D\u00e9m\u00e9nager \u00e0 Londres<\/p>\n

Q : Quel est votre plat pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob : Mon plat pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 est le chocolat, si l'on peut appeler cela un plat ? \u00c9videmment, c'est un plus s'il est produit de mani\u00e8re durable, comme le chocolat Kemito Ene fabriqu\u00e9 par les partenaires du RFUK au P\u00e9rou. Ce produit est incroyable, et je viens d'en acheter des tonnes pour garnir les chaussettes de No\u00ebl !<\/p>\n

Q : O\u00f9 vous sentez-vous chez vous ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rob : Le Canada, c'est chez moi. J'aime Londres, mais la neige me manque.<\/p>\n\t
