Georges-Thierry Handja (au centre de la photo), employ\u00e9 du RFUK, vient de terminer la formation de seize Camerounais qui rejoindront notre \u00e9quipe alors que nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 cartographier les zones de for\u00eat tropicale menac\u00e9es par les compagnies d'huile de palme, l'exploitation foresti\u00e8re et la construction de routes.<\/p>\n

Au cours des cinq prochaines ann\u00e9es, nous avons l'intention de dresser une carte num\u00e9rique d'une zone de for\u00eat tropicale du bassin du Congo 30 fois plus grande que le Grand Londres, montrant o\u00f9 vivent les communaut\u00e9s locales, quelles zones elles prot\u00e8gent et des informations sur leur acc\u00e8s aux soins de sant\u00e9, \u00e0 l'emploi et aux \u00e9coles.<\/p>\n\t
