Elle leur permet, entre autres, d'acc\u00e9der plus facilement \u00e0 la justice et aux services sociaux de base et reconna\u00eet leur droit aux terres et aux ressources naturelles qu'ils poss\u00e8dent, occupent ou utilisent.<\/p>\n<p>Elle soutient \u00e9galement leur droit au consentement libre, pr\u00e9alable et \u00e9clair\u00e9 (CLPI) concernant les d\u00e9veloppements sur leurs terres, ce qui est particuli\u00e8rement important compte tenu de ce qui suit <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.rainforestfoundationuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Congo-in-the-Crosshairs-Report-EN.pdf\">l'expansion pr\u00e9vue des combustibles fossiles <\/a>et d'autres menaces imminentes pour ces zones.<\/p>\n<p>Il s'agit de la deuxi\u00e8me loi sur les peuples autochtones dans la r\u00e9gion du Bassin du Congo apr\u00e8s que la R\u00e9publique du Congo ait adopt\u00e9 un texte \u00e9quivalent en 2011.
